Can Bo Vins & Tapes offers a gastronomic proposal based on classic Spanish recipes, incorporating subtle touches of Italian influence in some dishes. Our menu blends tradition and modernity, celebrating quality ingredients and local, seasonal cuisine.
A meal isn’t complete without Spain’s national drink, and at Can Bo Vins & Tapes, wine is centre stage. We offer more than 100 labels from diverse wine regions, with a special emphasis on local and Italian wines.
The restaurant was designed by the London-based studio Sagrada and stands out for its elegant Mediterranean-style décor, large windows that flood the space with natural light, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for enjoying in the heart of Ciutat Vella.
Fun fact about Can Bo
The name Can Bo is closely connected to the history of the building that houses the restaurant, the former residence of the renowned politician and patron Francesc Cambó. Phonetically, “Can Bo” echoes “Cambó”, his surname.
In Catalan, “Can” traditionally refers to someone’s home or house, reflecting that Francesc Cambó chose this place as his residence in the 1920s. The second part of the name also carries meaning: “Bo” means good in Catalan, a fitting reference to the restaurant’s culinary spirit and its celebration of good food.

If you are looking for an exclusive venue to organize a wine or spirits tasting or presentation, Can Bo offers the perfect setting. You will have access to our restaurant, an elegant tasting table with professional glassware, and impeccable table service.
You may also pair your wines with dishes by Chef Lorenzo Cavazzoni, with a minimum spend of €25 per person.
